Clean Up at a local picnic area
On Tuesday this week a team of Thirsk Rotarians and Friends of Thirsk Rotary met to wash & clean the benches and picnic tables and to generally tidy this lovely tranquil riverside rest area in Thirsk centre which was created in 2000 as a Rotary Millennium project.
Afterwards a fish & chip supper was enjoyed by those involved.
Thirsk Rotary has a strong commitment to undertaking community projects including their management of Thirsk in Bloom, working in partnership with the volunteers who plant and maintain this garden as well as the 120 floral containers around town
